Tomodachi Colleciton 2 is the Mii based virtual life game from Yoshio Sakamoto and Software Planning & Development 1 returns to the Nintendo 3DS for 2012. The sequel will include several new communication features and a new feature where you can become head of house hold, married, and raise kids.

The original sold around 3.5 million copies in Japan. This is the same team that developed the Rhythm Tengoku series.

If I recall correctly the first one sold around 1.5 million. It'll be interesting to see if Nintendo has lost the "expanded audience" in Japan to GREE and other mobile companies.

I remember everyone being surprised by this lurking shark. It may look downright creepy, but this is a game that is up there alongside the Brain Ages, Mario Karts, Animal Crossings, etc.

What was their reasoning for not bringing the original to NA again? Something about the voice synthesizer technology only working with Japanese characters or something?

God I want this game so badly, and the worst part is that I know I'm never going to be able to play it.
