Damn, maybe I need to upgrade my phone or get an Android tablet.

My fingers hurt already :( I'm unable to play Pac-Man correctly with tactile controls...so 3D Pacman in a gangsta city, shooting the cops and chillin' in the Mafia? No way.

$5 GTA3 and you can login multiple AppleIDs on 1 device without resetting settings

RIP VITA

Also if someone makes an OT, I'll be disappointed if thread title isn't GTA III |OT| PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT

Shame my phone isn't on the supported list (it should be... Galaxy S II isn't a slouch when it comes to performance) because I've never played this or Vice City. Been meaning to get around to it at some point to be able to say I've experienced them (and still claim that SA is the best of the bunch :p )

Would be cool if the game works out of the box with a bluetooth pad in ICS.

I remember back in 2001 gamers were claiming that "Grand Theft Auto III could never be on the Gamecube because the controller doesn't have enough buttons."

And now we have to play it with NO buttons.

Boy this should be fun.

Yeah, I'm worried about control as well. Supposedly they did a good job with GTA Chinatown wars. Perhaps they've given it some auto-aim to help?

Ah crap, should have saved my "push it to the LIMIT!" comment for this thread.

I'm probably going to pass because I already own GTAIII several times over on different systems, but I would like to say in this age of "HD remakes" that it's an enormous shame they're celebrating the 10th anniversary of one of the most historically important videogames of all time by putting out a cheap straight-up port of the original game on mobile devices.

Well . . . apparently there are as many buttons as you want to create icons and space for.

lol @ OG iphone 4 being supported while GSII and the like aren't

From Rockstar

Rockstar said:
@Sektor_hustle @Piotrek @giore91 & others, again, there are some other technical differences with the Galaxy S2 that make the development process a special case. Of course we’d love to make the game available on as many devices for as many people as possible, so know that it is something we’re still working on.

3Gs Apple phones/iTouch will not be supported though.

Android version could possibly be the bet version by a large margin if they support usb controllers (honeycomb tablets have built in 360/ps3 controller drivers).

Also, looking at what's supported, I'm a little dumbfounded. Android versionis tegra 2 only it seems, yet the iphone 4 sports the same sgx gpu present in a lot of early android phones. The omap based phones SHOULD be on this list.

Shockingly good price - lower than most of Gameloft's stuff and miles away from S-E's nonsense pricing. If Vita ever gets a PS2 Game Archives, I'd hope that $5 is the standard pricing. It's just the right amount, so you know it won't happen :-p

I take it those rotating arrows on the left side, are for turning the camera around?

They could have done it differently:
Touch anywhere on the screen and slide to turn the camera like in the FPS games for one.
Double tap a car to steal it, get out of it, to remove one more button.
Single-tap the car to use the horn, remove another button.
