Well, this is sooner than I had expected.

The phrasing of "reveal exciting new intellectual property" seems plural, so there could be more than one, though I would only expect one to be a retail console title.

With the timeframe it will be released in and the WiiU, it will probably be in both.

You might as well forget about a new Gex game, because games with cartoon characters don't sell on the HD consoles or PC these days - unless it's a downloadable game.

Yes, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 3 would be very good and welcome to play. Make it more Zelda-y than Darksiders and they'll have my money.

I would love to see a third "Eclipse" game (Lunar Eclipse?) too.

With the number of new IPs for 2012, you can tell that next gen is coming soon. I'm not at all interested in the Wii U, but it's nice that it will usher in new franchises instead of the third or fourth iteration of some game.

I hope by "new IPs" they mean "old IPs" and by "old IPs" they mean Soul Reaver.

I'm sure "New IPs" just means a online co-op FPS thing.

Love CD. Im looking forward to this.

I thought they would have done something with LoK by now. At least one of their Tomb Raider games (Legend, was it?) has the soul reaver unlockable and LC:GoL had the LoK themed DLC. A revival of that series would be nice.

I associate them with Crash & Burn and Off World Interceptor. Loved those games for 3DO. Now a new version would be freaking awesome.

Oh boy, I hope the new IP is Star Wars. Please let the new original IP be Star Wars.

Still need to see that the new Tomb Raider isn't all mud, chase cameras and QTEs. Step down from where they were at before so far but I like there games in general so...

Interesting, there was quite a bit of hype for their new IP that was never announced (and some people seem to think turned into the new Tomb Raider), I wonder if this is the same project.

I knew about Gex long before I'd ever heard about Legacy of Kain, so Crystal Dynamics will forever be the Gex developers to me too.
