UPDATE: Out now, go get it.

Launches this morning at 10:00 PDT. Included games are:
Canabalt
Zen Bound 2
Cogs
Avadon

Beat the average and get Swords & Soldiers.

Games for Android, Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. Pay over $1 to get a Steam key.

This new bundle for March is the successor to their first Android offering. This new bundle will be introduced as "The Humble Bundle for Android 2" and set to include the following games: Canabalt, Zen Bound 2, Cogs, and Avadon. If contributing more than the floating average price, the Swords & Soldiers game will also be included. Also included for most of the games is the games' soundtracks.
The Humble Bundle for Android #2 features:
* the meditative 3D puzzler, Zen Bound 2;
* the indie parkour platformer, Canabalt;
* the critically acclaimed, steampunk, indie puzzler, Cogs;
* an Android tablet special -- the epic, old-school role-playing game, Avadon: The Black Fortress;
* and for users who pay more than the average price, the vibrant, side-scrolling strategy title, Swords & Soldiers.

While this is another Android-focused bundle, the titles are also available for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X, as usual. Steam keys for these games are provided for those who pay more than $1 USD.

This is the only bundle I will pretty much always buy. They always do right.

Buying just for the potential cool extra games and Avadon. I already own S&S in WiiWare and I'm not interested in the rest :(

Canabalt is not in Steam yet, will it be released as a temporal exclusive for the bundle?

Did Toki Tori from the other bundle ever get an Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) release?

Even though I never got that game, I'm totally in for this. I played way to much Anomaly HD from the last bundle!

Just a note for anyone buying for the PC copies rather than for the Android copies: Zen Bound is kind of poop on PC if you aren't using a touchpad as a controller.

just sucks you can't update the games

You can. They have an Android app that will keep you up to date with the latest versions of the Android games. Log into your Humble Bundle for Android download page and you should see it near the Steam keys.

I already have Swords and Soldiers.

If I pay less than the average now, if they add more games later, will I get them?

I bought the package not realising cannabalt isn't on steam haha woe is me. oh well free android games was the big bonus and all those games are worth it. already 3400 purchases, this bundle is popular.

Also, the humble app is useful and hopefully will get better soon.

Can anyone tell me how this works on phones exactly? I tried searching Google Play/Android Marketplace on my phone (an HTC Incredible) and couldn't find the Humble Bundle or any of the games included. Is it like the initial install of the amazon app store where you install it from the web? I'd love to do this, but I'm somewhat afraid I'll find out after I purchase that my phone is too old to play the games.

Hmm. Don't have an Android phone. Already have Cogs and Avadon on PC. Zen Bound 2 designed for touch control. Is Canabalt any different from the flash version? I'll probably pass on this bundle unless I can beat the average for the price I could get Swords & Soldiers from a Steam sale. The backlog looms ever larger.
Uh, what am I missing here, would anyone without an android device not pass on it regardless of owning the games elsewhere?

Edit: yeah, OP didn't include that information when I posted, nm.

Avadon alone is worth it, get it folks.

Skipping this one.

I don't have an Android phone and Avadon looks mediocre.

Plus, I heard Zen Bound 2 is sort of awkward with mouse controls.

Looks like I was right to pass on Avadon during the Holiday sale.

I tell ya, these bundles are starting to have the opposite effect from what they're supposed to (besides the charity angle, that is). I actually find myself avoiding purchasing indie games now because I feel like they'll probably end up in a bundle sooner or later.

You can download the beta app at http://www.humblebundle.com/getandroidapp
It has a compatibility page which I suppose checks if your phone is know to be compatible, although for me all the games are listed with 'unknown support' on it (SGS2 running CM9). It also says you can download demos if you haven't already purchased, but I can't check if that's actually implemented and working because I bought it 15 minutes ago.

There is a separate android app you can download and install similar to the amazon app store app, or you can just download the install packages individually for each app and again install like the amazon app store process.

If you are worried about compatibility you can check this page. http://support.humblebundle.com/cus...mble-bundle-for-android-2-system-requirements
In the last android bundle they had demos available. I'm having trouble finding them on the site this time though.

So if I buy the game from the site, how do I download it onto my phone? Also, how many devices can I run it on? I have a phone and tablet.

You either open the page with your android device and download them directly or use the installer (but the link is broken by the moment). The games are drm free, you can install them in over 9000 devices

I get a page not found on Humble Bundle beta apk installer :(
If you alter the link to which it redirects you to 1.2 instead of 1.2.1 it works. Looks like you'll be able to update to the latest version from within the app when the file becomes available.

Cool, thanks. Just bought the bundle and gave 100% to the charity. Suck it down devs.

Nice.

This solves the one issue with these android games in the Humble Bundles since I would always see the games in my android market wanting me to update them and then accusing me of being a pirate in a really polite way.
