I'm on the fence on NSMB2, but $30 is an excellent price for a high-profile SE game. Too good to pass up for day-1 buyers.

Bring the game around with you anywhere you go without the cart, basically. For me, that's not worth going digital, but for many it is. Personally, there is no way in hell I would pay $40 for a 3DS game without the chance for resell, but that's just me.

The ability to just load it up without having to switch out cartridges, and while on the go, is pretty nice.

What are those? Newegg has been doing these pre-order deals quite a lot lately.

They recently just had a $10 off all $39.99 games and up deal and before that, $12 off select pre-orders. That was stellar.

Yeah, I'm thinking the extra cash saved isn't worth the loss of having this game on my system where ever I go, no matter what. Can't wait to get Fire Emblem digitally as well! Good sale though.

You have to put in the promo code. And the codes are tied to your account/email subscription, so if you don't get their promotional emails the code isn't valid for your account. But I think you can just subscribe and the codes will work.
