Well, sounds like a big boss game. The fall of big boss.
 
Please be in the far flung future and ignore nearly all of the MGS plot.
The series needs a proper reboot so that we can get away from the convoluted plot line.
 
Why would they announce it just as Kojima has left San Diego? Unless this is just a leak of some behind closed doors stuff. Likely fake though since we can kinda guess this is what MGS5 was gonna be about anyway.

Fuck that, set it one hundred plus years in the past. In fact, just ignore all of the technical shit and make it a story about soldiers with supernatural abilities.

Seriously looking forward to this, I'm so glad that if this is true that it's continuing with Big Boss' story instead of Solid Snakes.
 
after the high-reaching story conclusion of MGS4 i don't think it's really possible for any game to match that peak. no game could be as emotionally moving or philosophical as that game was.
 
Yeah alright the spelling out of OGRE definitely tips this to fake. Struggling to match words to an already known Project title is B-tier hoax shit.

But then, is also Kojima so....

That's adorable. Nobody really believed Peace Walker was going to stay MGS5. I even remember saying back when it was released that Konami would inevitably announce a real MGS5 in the future. It just makes no sense to release a numbered entry in the series on a a handheld.
