Here it is, Canadian PlayStation fans – your invite to come party and play with us at our Annual Holiday Preview Event!

Join us on Wednesday, October 3rd at Palais Royale from 5:30pm to 9:00pm and play this year’s hottest holiday titles before they hit retail shelves.

This year some of the fun includes brawling with your friends in PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, chasing an Elephantaur in God of War: Ascension, racing with Sackboy in LittleBigPlanet Karting and making some magic happen with Book of Spells.

We’ve invited third party developers to come out and play too, including Activision, KONAMI, EA, Ubisoft, Warner, Capcom, 2K and ATLUS.

We’re looking forward to seeing you again this year – head on over to our Facebook page to send your RSVP.

Even less warning then last year! Hopefully that will mean nobody will show up and there will be almost non existant lines again.

Last year, they gave almost 3 weeks notice. This year 6 days. Then again this is SCEC so we shouldn't be surprised.

The Event is in Toronto in case anyone noticed that the city was never mentioned in the SCEC's blog post.

If other Sony events this year are any indication, they will be giving out one month plus cards like candy.

Other then that, last year we got T-Shirts and the first 100 people in line got PSP Dual Packs.

Missed it last year because the year prior to it sucked major ass. It was awesome when it was invite only with less crowd. Open to public, it's now very crowded with no chance to play.

When you're the Centre of the Universe you don't need to be mentioned, it should be automatically known.

I don't care about playing any of the games (even though I have GoW:A pre-ordered) but free PS+ cards would be nice.

Two years ago at The Sony Centre was horrible. Last year was great. The Venue was bigger and for the first two hours nobody was there. I went right in and straight for the Vita with no wait at all. There were small lines for stuff like Uncharted 3 and the Vita and no line at all for many of the demo stations. You missed out.

This year the venue is further away from downtown, and they gave horrible notice. You should definately go.

I'll be at the press event in the morning. I actually liked the Sony Centre one despite the fact that Rock Band 3 was calibrated in the most awful way possible.

Last year was the first time Capcom ever let us try games ahead of release, with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Street Fighter x Tekken. Well, I'm curious about Playstation All Stars. I wonder who will be in the playable demo. Who was available in the demo at Fan Expo? I want to use Sackboy.

Is there free parking? This place can't be more than 10 minutes away from where I work. I don't really care too much about the games they'll be showing off, but may drop by just to check it out. I've never been to any sort of game-related event, so it might be fun. Getting a 1 month PSN+ card would be nice, too.

Sony Centre was good for location but bad for everything else.

A nice big place in the middle of nowhere with next to no notice should mean short lines.

Looks like I'm going to have to take the Go to Exhibition and walk from there.

See everyone there tomorrow.

I wonder if the Sony people are going to hide in the VIP bar area the second the press event ends like they have the past 2 years.

I'm from Kitchener. Toronto is only like an hour drive, but I'm not sure if I can bring myself to do it. I want to see Soul Sacrifice mainly. Says it's open to the public at 5:30, so I have a few hours to decide.
