This is the last news I've seen on it. It was supposed to be released in the fall but I haven't heard a peep about it.

Anyone know anything more? Did I miss something or did Capcom just kinda forget?

Capcom has told Pocket Gamer that its iOS courtroom drama trilogy Ace Attorney HD has been delayed, so it won't hit the App Store until early 2013.

Did the trilogy ever hit Android in Japan? I heard it was planned for iOS/Android, but haven't heard anything about the Android version since then. I would love to play this on my Nexus 7 instead of my iPod Touch.

I have been (im)patiently waiting for this and also the Layton Brothers Mystery Room game that still hasn't made it outside of Japan.

Can't wait!

I wish it had the ability to toggle between the new art and the old sprites, sort of like the Monkey Island remakes.

Anyway, here's a quick comparison of the Maya screenshot with the artwork from the artbook.

Edit:
I made the artbook artwork transparent and put it over the new sprite.

Seems to be pretty 1:1 to me.

I thought the games are available on some proprietary Android store in Japan, but not on Google Play? Same with Ghost Trick.

WTH Capcom? I like that DuckTales is getting a well deserved HD remake, but come on, can we get the last HD remake you promised us first?

I apologize if this sounds like whining, but I even posted on Capcom-Unity and got no responses. Maybe Sven will look here and make a statement.

He made a statement 4 days ago.

Sorry guys. This game has moved all over the place. The current schedule has it in April HOWEVER, given how this title has moved several times, I'm not certain how firm that date is.

That's the best info I have at the moment.
