Head on over to Bungie.net and you'll see their site has been updated and is now in beta form. Among the changes are the ability to sign in with your Xbox or PSN ID, Facebook, or Google.

I'm older now and understand the business philosophies of going multi-platform, but this takes me back to the first time I played a Sonic game on a Nintendo system. My mind was blown and it felt like I was in an alternate reality.

Yeah, but that's like a Sony thing. This is the first time I've seen a third party site plug into it for auth. Or are there others?

It doesn't mean only because there is Playstation now on the website they announce their games too early and it doesn't release in a close timeframe.

They will give us infos when they think they are ready and the game is also

Some people say they'll be a failure if they just make a Halo clone. I, personally, wouldn't mind more Halo. And I don't care about the platform.

Not sure how people can justify that when Bungie's previous series were Marathon and Oni, not one is like the other. We'll see something different from them. They left Halo, Halo didn't leave them. I doubt they'll want to create a clone.

This post is awful but it does raise the important point that the PS3 version of Destiny will probably be dogshit since this is their first stab at the hardware.

I'd be very surprised to see Destiny 1 be 360 exclusive now - plus there are the obvious job postings asking for experience with PS3, why would they have those if the only one coming to PlayStation is for PS4.

So is Destiny going to be a Sci Fi shooter in the vein of Halo, or something else? Just never been a fan of Sci Fi shooters personally, except for Time Splitters but that was only because of the wackiness. Hoping for a Sci Fi action adventure or lite RPG.
