I think I'm more excited about seeing the engine at work than the actual game. Game does look like it's more fun than the first two outings though.
 
Bar the rock music, that was a good watch.

Beta pretty much hyped me enough already for the game. My GPU and I are ready.
 
On Tuesday i'm posting the OT for Crysis 3, any suggestion for the name?

Especially those out of character cameras. CGI doesn't stand for something other than in game assets/gameplay/cinematic. They just recorded their in game assets with fancy cameras probably adding here and there additional effects. Something like Uncharted does. But it also doesn't mean you will see it real time in game (parts of it) exactly like on trailer.
 
This game in one of the reasons I'm finally building a gaming-only PC. Think a 7970 would run this game at 1080/60 well?

Nope, all real time. Difference, one part is a cutscene and not open world gaming.
It's easily tellable with the lighting, the way shaders come out. Just take a close look. But very awesome smoke and mirrors. Also helps it's nighttime

Also, the glass shattering was kinda weak. I mean, cool but I expected finer fragments, more real glass like.
 
The real reason why I'll be playing this game.

Awesome trailer and song from Muse. But I'm still confused with the whole
Prophet's memory in the suit taking over Alcatraz' body. Sucks for Alcatraz if this is what's going on.
 
I haven't followed this game as much as others but this going to be similar to how far cry 3 is setup? Able to free roam around a city ?

Alcatraz died during the submarine rescue, Prophet consciousness invaded his body via suit. Its a variation on a theme from older cyberpunk novels that were written by Richard Morgan [C2 script writer]

Even crysis 1 was not open world. It was "wide sandbox" with lots of nature, but confined in relativley big areas. The only "city" areas in C1 was small village with ~20 houses, and large dock with warehouses.

But wasn't he still aware of what was going on? In the book he was.
