From the final picture we can see it uses a quad core Exynos.
Specs:
Quad A15 at 1.8GHz
ImgTec SGX544MP
LCD Screen
Android 4.2.1
I seriously, seriously doubt that this is the final look of the device. The S3 had so many "dupes" pushed out by Samsung.
If it is the final design? Massive disappointment. For the love of god, get rid of the hardware buttons.
So this will be their new flagship I guess. What other ranges does SS offer that are still good phones, but smaller/not as pricey? Do they typically get released on a similar yearly cycle?
Yay, more plastic!
They will have a mini version of this out as well with a smaller screen size and worse hardware, but it will be significantly cheaper.

If that is final, the Xperia Z and ZL have nothing to worry about from a design perspective.
BTW, seems to be an LCD screen there.
How small? Sub 4"?
I dont think it actually looks more plasticy, it's kinda hard to judge the material i reckon

so its basically a S3 v2 or s3s
5" 1080p.
An LCD screen? Wasn't AMOLED one of the Galaxy series' USPs?
No, probably 4-4.3".
Aren't both Galaxy mini's less then 4"? Why would this be different?

Phones get bigger, the S3 Mini is 4" btw.
I did not know that. Didn't even know S3 Mini is already out. It's odd they are even calling it a mini at this point.
