Alligator tastes like chicken. . .

It does! I love fried Alligator, there's a Louisiana restaurant(name escapes me right now) that serves it around here. It tastes like chicken with the texture of fish. It's odd, I wonder if snake and frog legs taste like chicken after all then. . .
 
Neither alligator nor frog tastes like chicken in my mind. They may be similarly mild, but the flavor is completely different. Rabbit, on the other hand, totally does.
 
Hey, sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat the filthy motherfucker.
 
I think I was tricked into eating it when I was on vacation in Tallahassee, Florida. Can't be certain, but whatever it was, it did taste like chicken.
 
I agree it tastes like chicken, but I didn't think it was so good at all. Tasted like shitty microwave chicken fingers. Although, this was at a place on Bourbon St., and the best NO restaurants definitely aren't there.
 
Maybe the machines couldn't figure out what to make chicken taste like which is why chicken tastes like everything.
 
So when chickens eat alligators they must be playing out some cannibalistic fantasy.

Snake and frog also taste pretty much just like chicken.

This is where I'd insert a screencap from The Matrix if I could find one.
 
I went to a place, perhaps the same place as you, claiming to serve alligator tail.

It had a thick fried crust, a lot of salt and seasonings, and for all I know, it actually was chicken.
 
Eh, I always though snake, aligator and frog all tasted alike, but not as good as chicken. I guess it's the closest comparison, but I always felt the "tastes like chicken" claims were a little too reductive.
 
Well, what did you expect reptiles to taste like?

Dinosaurs = giant feathered chickens

Therefore

Dinosaurs = reptiles = crocodiles & alligators = taste like chicken.

I've eaten them. They're okay, but you get a fishy piece every once in a while.
 
It really does taste like chicken. I know this thanks to eating gator bites at the food trucks they do here in tallahassee. Pretty good. I made my whole family try it and my girlfriend too.
 
Ive tasted crocodile, and yes it very much tastes like chicken.

That was a while ago, will have to try it again sometime, from memory I actually enjoyed it.
