That Sonics record is amazing. They still play live shows once in a while. I saw them a few years ago.

Mikal Cronin last LP is pretty great too, although, I don't think it qualifies as garage anymore. His first album is really good too.

Yeah the Cronin is more of a power pop thing, but I dig it.
