This was too good just to post in MetalGaf and deserved it's own thread.

Maryland state troopers noticed a man playing a drum kit on the shoulder of the Interstate 695 inner loop, between Windsor Mill Road and Security Boulevard, around 10:30 a.m., a spokeswoman said.

He told state police he had run out of gas and decided to set up and practice until assistance arrived. A State Highway Administration truck stopped and helped him refill his tank.

The drummer was not cited and continued on his way, she said. Police did not identify him.

The drummer was not identified, however Maryland Deathfest which brings metal bands from all over the US and around the world is in Baltimore, MD this weekend.

He can't be any good. He doesn't look fat in that pic. Awesome metal drummers are fat moat of the time, aren't they?

I think the common dominator among drummers is that they are all bat-shit insane (or at least the craziest person in the band).

This guy is well on his way.

Sounds like a good way to kill sometime, but what is he? A mathcore drummer? Why the stripped down kit?

Metal drummers should be required to have at least two kicks.
