What it *is* is really interesting, though. I posted about it in the "Albums that tell a story" thread a while back.

I guess that's why I've not heard much about the remake. I'll probably throw some money its way.
(Also, I remember the days when it felt like Mel Croucher cropped up all over the place in the UK games industry. Wonder what he's done in the interim)
Edit: I notice one of the tier rewards is an emulated version of the original. I do hope that does all the audio syncing behind the scenes, it's a bit fiddly to do!
Here's a leftfield suggestion:
This was intended as a marriage between a concept album and a game; each element of the game coincided with an album track conceptually and visually, telling the life of a Defect born in the Machine
