The Dark Sorcerer PS4 Tech Demo... With an Unexpected Twist Ending

It would be cool if Quantic Dream actually made a game out of this and it ends up being a comedy about an old man. Basically "Curb Your Enthusiasm" the game.
 
I really enjoyed this. One of the many highlights.

That was the beauty of it. First time through the trailer, you see that goblin thing and think that he looks horrendous in the context of this ultra-earnest fantasy demo. And then the twist happens and he suddenly becomes hilarious in an intentional way.

This would be incredible.
 
Good way to do a tech demo in comparison to some of the crap we have seen in years past.

Thought the trailer looked awesome, and loved the surprise ending. Wish they could have shown some actual gameplay, but at least we'll get to see that tomorrow when they showcase the 12 minute demo @ E3.
 
I'll be watching this one, if only because this should be their first game written by a team instead of just David Cage.
 
The trailer draws parallel to the first tech demo that was released for prototype PS3 back in 2005 (iirc) that featured a woman planning to kill her cheating husband. Anyone recall that?
 
I groaned at first, but they won me over with the real premise and the jokes. Will tune in tomorrow.
 
Looks incredible.

Seeing the graphics we are already seeing this early in the gen has got me imensely hyped for this generation. All my concerns about it being a lackluster jump were dispelled completely today.
 
oh, Missed the part where it said it was a tech demo. Thought it was an actually new ip from Quantic Dream, so It was weird with the ending. hah.

But yeah, the old man sorta reminded of Peter Molyneux. So I was thinking, is this a Peter Molyneux X Quantic Dream game? haha. Still, it looked really good. Looking forward to see what QD does on PS4.
 
Looked really good. Sone thing bothered me about the facial animation. It The creases on his cheeks were completely stationary. No matter how wide he opened his mouth, the movement did not extend outside of his mouth. His cheeks and the lines on his face should move with his mouth. It looks a little strange otherwise.
 
It looked amazing. Among the best of the next-gen tech demos I've seen. Really looking forward to the 12 minute (?) version.
 
I was actually really hoping this was a real game. It was my favorite part of the show.

A game where you play an actor with lots of comedic timing would be a riot.

I'm probably alone. I just thought it would be a hoot. Was hoping for an RPG out of it.
