Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut No Longer Wii U Exclusive

According to IGN

In a press release today, Square Enix confirmed that the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut will no longer be a Wii U exclusive.
The publisher announced the cut earlier this year, promising exclusivity to Nintendo's console and outlining features which played to the strengths of the Wii U GamePad. Today, Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Mac versions were announced for release later this year.

Wii U just can't catch a break with these 3rd party developers. First Rayman, now this.

I'll still probably pick it up for WiiU....

....next year, during an inevitable draught, from the bargain bin.

I never played this game heard it was excellent.

It's not another Rayman Legends-release shitfest, hallelujah.

Game is done, release the Wii U version first, other versions later. Good on you, SE.

Aww poor Nintendo here...

Still excited for this on PC though, was hoping it would happen. Any word on a release timeframe?

I hAve it preordered for Wii U anyway. Never played it before. I'm glad it fixes some stuff from the original.

Kinda glad I still haven't picked up the PC version. I'm guessing it'll be offered as DLC, though.

Not for Deus 'Explosive Mission Pack' Ex. For PC they could just as easily scrap the old DLC options and GOTY it up to justify a new $40 price tag on it. Then an upgrade option for existing owners for a cool 10-15 bones.

So, what's supposed to be improved in this version?
Because I thought they were just going to add some stupid tablet-friendly feature.

That would be the perfect excuse to play the game over again - which I was going to do anyway. Excellent. Now if we can get a discount for owners of the original...

As far as I know it has redone boss battles. I don't know if anything else is different.

If this leads to a drop on the suggested price, I guess I can wait some more. It's not like I don't have a lot of stuff to play in the meantime, anyway.

Also added DLC weapons and Missing Link to the core campaign. Adam's energy also regenerate two bars instead of one.

It's essentially the "GOTY" version with tweaks here and there.

no microsoft, tell me how to play this game while using smart glass. unless the game is flooded with enemeis and i need player 2 to tell me when to hide.

whatever. someone has to be paying enix to be porting it.

It better at the very least replace the copies I already have in my Steam library so I dont have multiple listings..

I'm having a hard enough time dealing with the order that The Witcher games are listed in.

Good. It was bound to come to other consoles anyway. Proabably at a cheaper price or as DLC. Then people would be angry they paid more on Wii U. I guess all versions will now be $40. Which is better than $50. Will stick pick up on Wii U for Off-tv play

they revealed it at $50 for Wii U iirc, so probably $30 on all other platforms besides U

I don't think there is anyway to charge $20 more on one platform for a game that comes out at the same time for every system. I've never heard of such a thing. PR nightmare.

Did they announce the dates for the releases? I know they showed it off at Pax and Amazon had it listed for Wii U release in early May. Did they push that back for the other versions like Rayman?
