So, I watched this vid on game informer, and they brought this nes classic to my attention.
I did an entire playthrough of this thing, and it was quite a trip.
It's a side scrolling platformer, with a focus on boss fights.
You play as Mark, a baseball player sucked into a monster world, who's fused with a demon named Bert. Bert acts as a transformational power up. It's actually a pretty decent game all together.
But that's not why we're here. For those who don't know, this is one of the nuttiest video games ever made. Despite looking like a generic halloween themed game, it's loaded to the brink with craziness. You have bosses that apologize for already being dead before you can fight them. Zombies that only want you to watch them dance, and...
This thing. Yeah, A fried shrimp boss. He's got three forms btw, and no, none of them make sense.
Also, the most mind f*cking opening level ever. [I'd watch the whole thing, for the full effect, but skip to
to just get what I'm talking about]

But, where am I getting the Suda connection, you might ask?
Well, he didn't actually work on the game. But, his first company that he was involved with, Human entertainment, did. And, purportedly, Suda was even mentored by the head of the game's dev team.
Not to mention, the game contains a multitude of 'Suda' tropes. Like bosses you can't fight, punk culture, references to old movies, and scorpions.
So, pretty interesting, right? [I hope this hasn't been done before here, but I couldn't find it. Lock if you have to, mods.]
