There will be an unexpected, surprise NeoGAF Bingo this weekend at 6PM EST US, 10 PM GMT!

This is an unplanned Bingo powered by several of NeoGAF's friends and NeoGAF users TommyT and Noshino, who are giving away four PAX Tickets each -- one for each day of the event. This means we have 8 PAX tickets, total.

Each ticket (Ticket for Friday, ticket for Saturday, ticket for Sunday, ticket for Monday) will be given away in an individual round of Bingo. Please note, and this is very important: each winner will be required to PM me to explain how they plan to get to the event. In addition, after PAX, a couple of pictures of their time at the event must be put up for everyone to see. Because GAF is largely a supportive community we are relying on people not being jerks and simply scalping the tickets.

There will also be video game prizes provided, in part, by many of GAF's supportive game developers who have provided their games for Saturday's Bingo! That way, even if you cannot go to PAX, there will be something for people to win and play for. I repeat: this event will take place this Saturday, at 6PM EST, and you will have a chance to win PAX tickets and games!

There will be a total of 6-7 rounds on Saturday. The donated game prizes will come first, and the four PAX tickets will be given away individually in rounds 3/4/5/6 or 4/5/6/7. Single people can win more than once.

They are. Normally I leave all prizes as a surprise for the Bingo night, but the nature of PAX tickets makes that impossible.

To be clear: this is not an all expenses paid trip to Seattle, these are specifically PAX tickets. If you cannot get to PAX, then you should not be trying to win these tickets. We want the winner of the tickets to actually use them.
 
Woo! I want to enter but if I win, I'll give the tickets to someone else or some other GAFfer can take it. That's fine, right? :D

If I wasnt already going to be there for my studio I would be all over this.

Stuff happened and I wont be able to go to PAX this year either, so I guess you can add my 4 single tickets for each day as well Opiate.

Have friends going to PAX that can hand out the tickets, but I can always mail it as well.

Oh my. That is incredibly generous! We now have 8 tickets to PAX to give away!

Extremely generous. I would love to join but I also want to get a ticket for my wife on the same day. Chances for that happen would probably be really low so I'll just try my luck somewhere else.
 
Open to those outside USA ? Man i always want to go to Expo like E3 and PAX.....

Yes, you absolutely can! We encourage you to play. You can even "play" the rounds with PAX tickets -- just make sure we know you wont' be taking the tickets even if you are first to Bingo.

I instinctively thought the same thing, but then I saw this thread. Apparently there are actually a good number of people who want one particular day.

I suspect now we'll be doing 4 rounds of 1 ticket-a-piece and then a final round where all four are given in a single block.

90% of the people why just want one day want Saturday. Nobody just wants a Friday pass or a Monday Pass

Maybe something in the middle like Doing a Friday+Saturday and a Sunday+Monday combo would work better. Gives out of towners a better incentive to make the trip. Make the prize worthwhile to more people.
 
I didn't see anything about this in the other threads, and this is probably a stupid question, but we can still play in the rounds for games even if we aren't interested in the pax tickets, right?

Edit: And I'm an idiot, because I missed the person who already asked this on my first read through. Never mind!
 
Man PAX is at the worst time for me, first week of the college year. :( Might play for prizes other than PAX tickets though.

Hmmm gonna give this a go, almost don't want to on the off chance i win, flight and hotel is about £1500 so with spending money it would wipe out my wages in 1 go but fuck it would be fun.
 
Looked up ticket prices to seattle. Totally doable for me as long as my job approves leave.

I'll be playing for sure.

Damn, I would have totally gone for this. Unfortunately, I'm busy at a friend's wedding all weekend.

This also means that my GAF Bingo Card generator probably won't be back up in time. Ah well. Have fun everyone!
