Should be 150, 12gb is way too small. Minimum should be 32

I'm pretty sure you can put in a standard 2.5" hard drive - they don't include the caddy though.
Still not sure whether this is a rumor thread or if this has been actually announced?
From what I understand if you want to put a harddrive in you need to buy the hard drive caddy for it.
The 12GB is very much a barebones version and if you do put in a hard drive the 12GB is no longer available

Except you can. When you install an HDD, the flash memory becomes unavailable.
Better than the regular wii u , which is only 8gb.
That's the only one i'm familiar with haven't seen anything else, which also seems to be a much better deal than this $199 ps3, although if you can only afford $199 i guess it's good for some.
Not that it would come of much surprise anyway.
That said, would be nice if it were a bit lower than $200, or if it came with the HDD tray thingy instead of having that sold separately.

Its funny how the gamecube was 99 dollars less than 3 years in. I hope next gen prices drop faster. I would totally pick up all 3 consoles if they drop below 200 fast enough.

The 12GB is just so small...
As long as you can easily put in our custom hard drives from our phat PS3's I might consider it for the bedroom to reduce noise...

Yeah any drive from an old PS3 will fit, you just need to buy the mounting bracket, or fabricate one somehow.

Yeah I'd love to play The Last of Us but my money is going on a PS4. Looks I'll have to wait to get another PS3. $130 sounds like a price I'd be willing to pay for a system I never used to play games when I had one.

It's what I'm assuming (well, hoping) since no console is targeting absurd, top-of-the-line specs like the PS360 did this gen, where for example the 360 GPU had tech in it that was flat-out not on the market of dedicated graphics cards. This time 'round, they're aiming for much more mainstream stuff, which should allow hardware revisions and price drops to happen sooner this time 'round.
