Our debut title is a new experiment far from explosions, wars to battle and zombies to kill. It is about human emotions and bonding. Featuring remarkable scenarios and unique atmospheres, Murasaki Baby is a fully hand-crafted game entirely designed by hand on paper.

Murasaki Baby wants to challenge convention and move its audience. Our game offers something different based on a strongly emotional game design through which players will live an experience like no other.

Baby wakes up in a weird world, populated by children’s fantasies and fears. Holding a purple, heart-shaped balloon in her hand, she feels lost, homesick and vulnerable. She wants her mommy. Grab her hand and be her guide: here begins a fantastic journey through a dramatic, yet grotesque world made of children’s fantasies and fears, nightmarish visions, peculiar characters, unique environments.

Artistically it reminded me a lot of the style of Jhonen Vasquez (Johny the Homicidal Maniac).
It looks like a fun game.
 
Yeah, I like it, too. Art style like Dokuro and Closure, but amped up and more animated/active.

It looks like scared = damage. Heart-shaped balloons for her life-meter is a cool idea, visually.

Yeah that's an indy game ok :p

This looks BRILLIANT.

Impressed me far more than Rime, which although stylish and atmospheric seemed to be fairly standard mechanically.

MB not only looks amazing and stylish, the gameply snippets shown in that trailer struck me as being uncommonly smart (dragging baby by the hand, pulling down the heart balloon to recover from terror, etc).

No idea if they can sustain/string this sort of intelligent invention together for the entire duration of a game, but on the basis of this trailer I hope to God they can do, because this could be really, really, special imho.

I've been rarely as impressed as I was by the MurasakiBaby teaser.

yup that how I feel too, honestly if wasn't for the memory prices, I would of probably gotten a vita just for this game.
 
Looks great.

Anyone else notice it was like the ghost of Ico was at this conference? Several games showed clear influence.
 
I love how nightmarish it is. Genuinely disturbing stuff, yet it's got that element of childlike wonder to it. Would be ideal for emotionally scarring kids lured in by the deceiving art style.

Very interested in this.

I generally dislike touchscreen type gameplay, but the addition to this looks ok ( like spinning the background fan for wind effect). Just hope it isn't relied on too much.
