You are invited to come meet and hang out with your favorite group of internet friends!
We will be meeting Sunday, September 1st @ Von Trapp's on Capitol Hill for drinks, and an all around good time. Because of the location, this is a 21+ event, sorry minors. EDIT: MINORS ARE WELCOME UNTIL 10PM

Von Trapp's is a massive German bar that offers a huge selection of German and Bavarian beer, a full bar, and even bocce ball. I'm working on reserving the upstairs section for our event, I will update this thread when I hear back from their Event Coordinator.

Details:
Sunday, September 1st, 2013. 8PM @ Von Trapp's on Capitol Hill.
912 12th Ave. Seattle, WA

Von Trapp's is located roughly a mile east of the WA Convention Center. Definitely a doable walk and for you out-of-towners, an opportunity to walk through the unique part of Seattle that is Capitol Hill.

Of course, if you're tired from standing on the show floor all day, and would prefer not to walk, it should be a relatively cheap cab fare to the bar ($6-$8). Otherwise any of the following busses should take you up Pike Street where you can walk down 12th:
#10, #12 (both of which can be caught outside the Convention Center)

Not sure what bingo is, but you should definitely still come from 8PM-10PM. I tried finding an 18+ venue but they were all pretty shady.

Also, if you look like you're 21 I doubt they'll kick you out after 10PM honestly.

Come stop by, even if it's on the earlier side and only for an hour or so. You could be out of there by 10PM, still plenty of time for sleep.

Pretty sure their boots are only 1L actually. Regardless, they don't serve the boots after 10PM so you'll want to get one on the early end. Regular liters are served all night of course.
