Let's have some fun with scores!
The next-gen it's almost here and a lot of games (most of them available on PC as well, of course) will shine on our monitors.

I'm not a fan of the scores and metacritic, but let me be honest, a lot of us (even subconsciously) understand the "importance" of that little number.

Anyway, in this thread I'm aiming at having some fun with the numbers and we can try to "predict" what will be the meta of the next-gen games (Ps4, X1).

It's not about "I think this game deserves ...", but more about: "Yes, CoD will probably get another 90 of meta", so even if you really dislike that game, try to guess what score it will be given.

All the games in the list are well know and most of us have already a good idea what we can expect from them. Of course, we cannot know yet if Ryse is the worst launch game ever or the biggest surprise, but try to have some fun and share your scores !
I think after some posts we can start to have a general idea what the gamers will expect.

A couple of simple rules :
-Better use the "out of 100" like Metacritic
-We are talking about the score on these platform : Ps4, Pc, X1, Wii U. No Ps3/X360.
-You are not forced to score all games
-Be polite and respect other people's opinions.
-Use the quote as template!
-If you dislike this thread, don't feel obliged to share your disappointment!
-Any additional comment is welcome!

I will not agree with Elder Scroll online (I really dislike the beta) and I think BF4 will struggle to reach the the 90.
I'm sure Driveclub will not get too much love, MSGV will flagged as the best MSG, Titanfall the new CoD.
Destiny it's too huge to get score under the 90%.

I think we need to take into consideration almost "everything" : bias, cheques, hype, mental disorder, happiness, click bait, etc

I think this prediction thread it's a pretty funny game!
 
It's impossible to have fun with arbitrary numerical scoring systems.

Good thread idea though, and even though I abhor scores (might have a go), I'm gonna sub this cos it's gonna be interesting to see how closely everyone can predict them.

ESPECIALLY if people are taking into account critic bias, etc.

Anyone gonna try and do 'anomalous' scores from certain websites? Or just plain guessing certain outlets scores.

I personally haven't followed Elder Scrolls Online and Dragon Age 3 at all, so I have literally no idea for those 2.

This is pretty interesting.

Anyway, it's not only a prediction thread ... It's also about "perception".
A number will never do justice to any game (movie, music, tv show, etc), but I think It's pretty interesting to see what "perception" people may have about a videogame and its likely score.

I mean, I think Elder Scroll online will get an 80 of meta (pretty good score), but mostly because it's:
-Elder Scroll
-Bethesda
-A game pretty hard to review, so the reviewer will play just few hours, have some fun and start to write a review with a safe score.
-because after all it cannot not be a "nice" game

and all this, even if this game will be another mmorpg with no innovation or anything that can really put it above the competition.
