I am really diggin' this pop/electro band these days called Big Data.

Trouble is, they haven't been around for a while, so there's no lyrics of their tunes out there on the Googles.

I'm really diggin this track, and I want to sing along to it. English not being my first language, I can only figure out so many of its lyrics...

Can someone do me a solid and figure out all of it's words? Shouldn't be hard at all.

Aw come On!!! There must be a GAFer out there who likes listening to songs and writing down it's lyrics! No? I'm not asking for much, maybe even just the first stanza, someone else can do the chorus etc.

No there is no trick, I just really am diggin this tune right now...but can't seem to find the lyrics anywhere online, the guy's voice is cool, but yes, it is hard to decipher the lyrics.

the part where you guys think it says "The stroke of her tongue..." I am guessing that is "Stroke of return" (The title of the song) otherwise not bad, not bad.

No problem. I actually like the song, so it's all good.
Still the first parts of the song are freaking ridiculous to understand, so 'football' it is.

EDIT: I fixed some of the lyrics. This band needs a better microphone, or the singer needs to learn how to pronounce words.

This duo is apparently from LA, and they have only been around for a year??

I think Vedre is correct on both; "There's nothing out there, a RUBBER ball" "I'm getting lost in the eeeeeeeether while I SLEEP"

All due respect, I would say this is (by far) the least interesting thread I ever made on GAF... Asking GAF to help you figure out the lyrics of a song, is hardly anything thread worthy. But I donno, this is that song that's been looping on my playlist all day for the last two days, I really gotta know the lyrics.

On the note of making interesting/weird threads, there has been lots of crazy shit going on in my life lately (mostly kinda negative :( ...just recently a coworker accused me of getting her drunk on purpose on her birthday to sleep with her, she told this to her close friend at work, before I confronted her about it, and made her confess her bullshit and admit to "Sorry Johnny...I tend to exaggerate stories teehee....!?!")

Many times I felt making threads about them, then I just held back and said "let me sleep on it first" and then didn't feel like making the threads anymore (Since 90% of the times I resolved the issues on my own, with the people I had beef with...) Currently I am in some serious tangled web of hostility with one of friendzoned friends... but yeah...let's just leave that to myself.

Also, I love you how left the "foreeeeeeeeeeeeeever" and what not. LOL

EDIT: Thinking about changing "Pussy" to "Lucy", or "You'll see". What are your thoughts on that? I can't make it out really clearly, since my good headphones are not available. :/

No, I love that. Hah No need to formalize it. I had to use a few different equalizer settings to up the treble but even still, there are just some sections you can't hear well at all.

Solid revisions, now it all sounds about right, I still think "I'm getting lost in the eeeeeeeether while I sing" Should be "...while I sleep." but I could be wrong.

I was laughing at that too. Yeah I don't think "Pussy" part is actually "Pussy" either, must be something else, but it's just a background vocal thing, so..not that important.

I was going to suggest (now that we solved the one song) figuring out the lyrics of Dangerous But the internets already beat us to it on that one :P

Yeah, it's difficult for some of the sections, but I agree it makes sense for it to be "sleep." Also, I agree with "breeze" instead of "brace," but where I put "Oh, the [Unknown A]," he repeats the same word (whatever it is) in the second line directly after that line.

Interesting song. :)
