Below is a list of currently released games in the North America Region. These games are pretty good. I've omitted games such as Doa, Ninja Gaiden, Street fighter 4+ x tekken, since they show up on both. Mediocre games like Etrian odyssey, Cod declassified, Sound Shapes ect..
I've added ports to both lists cause I'm just judging games based on if you only had the handheld as your only gaming machine.
This is all based on my personal opinion, but it's hard to argue.

Seems to me that they are really close in terms of great software. Yes Pokemon is out in less then 2 weeks, but how can you argue that the Vita has a crap library by comparison?

I own both and much prefer what the 3DS has had to offer so far, but the Vita library is far from crap.

Well, a larger chunk of the Vita games there ARE ports so that's something to keep in mind. I think both systems have pretty good libraries, though the 3DS may come ahead for original titles, though if you really want good western support Vita's the better choice.

It's funny how you preface this "based on my personal opinion" but then again you say stuff "how can you argue with this???" as if you just cannot understand how people can form a different conclusion from you "based on their personal opinion."
