I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about the system. Like it? Dislike it? How's the UI? The controller? Functions? Camera? Voice control? PSN? Generated heat? Noise?

Once in a game, great experience. Everything else, mediocre experience. Sony needs better UI/OS devs. Your title is unnecessarily inflammatory imo.

I don't have one, but my friend got one and I could play around a little bit.
The UI is damn fast, controller (as I've already mentioned) is the best out there, games are loading quickly and the PS4 is really quiet :)

What's annoying: After selling over 1 Mio. units -> The PSN servers are currently slow.

I thought so too at first, but I'm not sure how else he could have worded it without it turning into a broken PS4 thread

Smooth UI, impressive performance on Killzone and NBA (no frame drops at all), earbud is trash, love the console's design itself, looks sexy next to my 360 and PS3.

Everythings great until we get to online games since everythings lagging or booting you out and stuff (havent tried KZSF though)

UI is okay. Pretty bland IMO, but when there are themes I think I'll like it a lot more. In terms of speed it's as good as is possible to be.

Controller is really good. Still prefer the 360 controller, just because I think the triggers are a bit better and I prefer asymmetrical sticks, but it's clearly well built and superior to DualShock in every facet.

Some are complaining about noise, but mine is silent except for the clicking noise when I shut down - which doesn't bother me as much as make me nervous.

Really liking it so far. The UI needs some work, but its ok for now. PSN is faster than it has ever been for me. Love how patches and games can not download and install in the background while you game. Trophy rarity is a nice addition. I sit pretty close to the system and I don't notice much noise. When starting up a game I hear the disc spin up, but after that I don't notice. Haven't really check the heat, but it hasn't overheated on me yet. Streaming was incredibly easy to set up and seems to work well.

So far, I've played a few hours of Knack, Killzone, and Resogun. Really like Knack more than I thought I would given the reviews. Maybe it goes down hill later. Not liking Killzone all that much. It looks great, but just feels like a standard shooter. Resogun is awesome. Took me a little bit to get used to all the madness going on on the screen, but once you do it feels great.

Oh! And the controller feels great. I'm not a huge fan of having a speaker on the controller, but at least is sounds much better than the Wii contoller.

Stealth troll is highly ineffective.

The PS4 is nice. PSN is flakly, as one would expect the weekend of launch. Other than that, no complaints. It's quiet, it's pretty, and the controls work great.

Although the cross-game chat/party chat is an expected feature at this point, i've gotta say i've been using it nonstop with friends joining in all day long...

UI is very fluid and i'm enjoying the hell out of all the F2P games.

Also, Need For Speed Rivals is really awesome, it's definitely a sleeper hit in my eyes.

I haven't experienced any hardware problems, eg, heat or noise. My only issues have been PSN related. The controller's awesome. The games, though limited, showcase next-gen. I tried the voice controls. It was neat but my GF thought it was lame when button presses are faster.

I wish when pressing the psn button it overlays into the game instead of exiting to the menu. If I am playing online, I wouldn't know when the match is ready unless I check back in due to this. Psn store needs improvement as well. I wanted to download FFXV trailer but they have no content on the store.

The controller is very snugg. System is only loud on start up. Going into streams is incredibly fast.

Nice trolling OP.
I love the ps4. It's has some launch bugs but that is acceptable for me. I didn't come into this with unrealistic expectations.

Visually, KZ is the first game that didn't disappoint when I actually saw it on my television. I have a 65" panni, and the picture looks like those screen grabs I saw. My point is 1080p matters.

UI and, notably, the browser are both always super fast. Organization and navigation are shit though. There should be a dedicated tab for a sorted library of apps and games and media, not an afterthought icon at the end of the what's new section.

The store is bizarre. How come I can't pull up a sortable list of PS Plus freebies? I just have to flip through a series of full page ads for the games. The only sortable list of Plus stuff I can find is a list of the three subscription options.

I uploaded a couple of video clips to Facebook and they look dreadful. Like, so compressed you can't see what's going on dreadful.

I love the snappyness of the UI, but the best thing:

I can connect my Logitech G935 wireless headphones for in-game audio and voice chat. USB headset support is awesome.
