It's worth at least twice the price. If you like good accessories, you won't find anything remotely close for the money. The highly-praised Logitech G27 is worth more than this, and it is a toy in comparison to the T500.

I will be putting my G27 and wheel stand pro on ebay tonight after ordering. I just hope this thing is still in stock when I get home.

You could just clamp it to a table or chair or something. Wheel Stand Pro's are about $200 shipped on Amazon though.
In case you don't want to watch it, they gush over it even at a 600 hundred dollar price point. This is probably the best wheel deal in years!
For you fellas in the UK, can you use a shipping proxy like shipto.com to have US items shipped to your door? I've used them a few times in Australia to have otherwise non-shippable Amazon items shipped to me here in Australia.

Mine is clamped to a big desk, as it is used for PC sims, so I have a heavy monitor on there as well. For living room use, a little table in front of the tv is probably not strong enough - it will move around a lot with the forces this thing throws out.
