Marketing a movie about black people is hard, guys. :(

Judging by that poster, I'm guessing that this movie is about handsome white Jesus (Brad Pitt) saving Jesse Owens from post-Berlin-Olympics Nazi protesters who have chased him into a corn field.

How close am I?

I know this is about slavery, but that's the entire extent of the marketing I've seen. I gather that he was a slave for twelve years as well. Beyond that, it's a mystery. I could see Italians being annoyed that Brad Pitt isn't actually in much of the movie (according to what I've read here) based on having seen that poster. It's the most devious of bait and switches.

Nope, Fassbender was worse. Felt like he was overacting thought out the movie.

I'm not a fan of Fassbender in this film, as well, but Pitt is way worse, considering how much he stinks ups the place for how little he's in the film.

That being said, I thought Paul Giamatti was the worst one of all.

I've always wondered why the American poster for this movie looks like the one for Catch Me If You Can.

I mean, I get that he's running, but did no one pick up on this?
