It seems fitting after playing the other night and racing on Rainbow Road for 3 straight races. And I agree, this version of Rainbow Road is awesome.

I guess we'll get a track from Mario Kart 8 in the Wii U version of the game. Probably the Rainbow Road, if the ND trailer is anything to go by.

Rather have a unique location for the Wii U version than another Rainbow Road. Mario Kart has developed its own universe.

I get a feeling that most of the stages this time are "Famous place you know as backdrop, some platforms floating in front of it where you fight". I hope I'm wrong and there's more variety than that, but I want to be on those stages, not just looking at them in the background.

I guess they needed a Mute City clone since F-Zero has probably been downgraded from a fully featured franchise to only having representation at the Assist Trophy level.

Well that's a shame, I'd rather they had picked Wii Rainbow Road. Hated everything about RR in MK7. Fingers crossed the Wii RR music is unlockable at least, I could listen to that all day.

Don't really love the cruise-esque stages though. I know Skyloft is one, but I guess I'm okay with this because those two are the only ones so far and they're in different versions.

Soooo this just means that the F-Zero stage in the 3DS version will be a non-moving course, right~?
