Why nobody mentioned this show before? Me and buddies why drunk watched an episode for fun yesterday. It's hilarious! It actually pokes fun at every dumb blonde stereotype. It started as a joke but we really enjoyed it and watched every episode on Netflix.

I nearly lost it when the dolls couldn't get completely down on the waterslide, because they're too stiff just like in real life.

I'll stick with the pony show, thanks.

Actually did watch an episode of this. It's pretty much trying to be Toy Story Barbie, but it's never as good.

i dont know why but i'm watching this.

this is too ADD for me, they change subjects like 15 times and its only 3 minute-long episodes

Which is why I'm impressed, kids wouldn't get most of that. There's even the BTTF hoverboard in one episode.

My baby cousin kept singing the theme song while watching it on her tablet. I wanted to bash my head against the wall.

I suppose the show isn't all that terrible considering what they had to work with and the writing/hijinx can be funny at times.

It's be something you'd see on Cartoon Network nowadays if it were a 30 minute show and the names weren't Barbie related.

Uh...

Is this going to be the new brony fad?

No, this shit is legitimately interesting and funny

Plus most of the inherent weirdness of the Barbie fan community lies in the doll collectors. Except for this cartoon, all the animated movies are made with kids in mind, not college students

Hahahaha, wow. Can't believe someone made a thread.

My girlfriends little cousins (8 years old) spent the night a couple weeks back, when I got up in the morning they had netflix going and put this on. Sat on the couch with them and holy crap, couldn't believe how funny some of this stuff in the show was. I went out to get breakfast stuff and when I got back, sure enough my gf is up and laughing hysterically on the couch.

We were pretty drunk after coming home Saturday night from the bar and we smoked some and turned this on.

I watched the first episode on Netflix last night, and I respect how little it cares about, like, any of the plot. Of course Barbie's closet is run by a hyper intelligent AI Ken built. Of course Ken included a button to put the closet in Evil mode. Of course the CPU is protected with an Indiana Jones style weight sensor, and of course tripping the sensor releases a giant hairless Barbie head. It's not high art, but it's surprisingly watchable since it never takes its conflicts seriously.

This has been around for a while now. I worked on the website and the shitty gameification of the site. The stupidity of the videos was the only thing that made that project remotely tolerable. They should have just sank all their money on video content. No need to wrap a shitty site around them.
