All right One Piece GAF, give me your favorite/least favorite Devil Fruits powers!

All right, lets get the obvious one out of the way:

Trafalgar Law - Ope Ope no Mi/ Op-Op Fruit

This Devil Fruit gives the user complete control over anything inside the "room", which lets them do anything (and I mean anything inside). Law decides to be creative and play with his enemies, taking their bodies apart, sticking them in places where they shouldn't be. Making him look like an all around badass.

Admiral Kizaru - Pika Pika no Mi/Glint Glint Fruit

Probably my second favorite within the whole series. This one gives the ability to travel and attack at the speed of light. Kizaru using the mirror trick definitely sealed the deal as an awesome ability.

Admiral Akainu - Magu Magu no Mi/Mag-Mag Fruit

Just when you thought that Devil Fruits couldn't get any more broken, here's one that gives you the power to manipulate magma. And who else to get it but an enemy of the main character? The man was able to melt motherfuckin'

This one wins by default. The power to manipulate GRAVITY!?! Fuck yes.

Kin'emon - *Devil Fruit Name not given yet*

With this DF, the user is able to create clothing.... That's it. Nothing special, just clothing. And you can't even create the clothing out of thin air, you have to put a leaf on someones head or some shit. And when you take off the clothing it just disappears. It's not really a bad DF, it's just really boring and dumb. Thankfully, Kin'emon makes up for it by being able to cut explosions.

Compared to how much One Piece episodes and mangas that exist now, I barely saw anything ...


But on a real world way, one could make A LOT OF MONEY with the "sex change" one.
Both by helping transgender people and by running a fetish love hotel with permanent changes

Well I have good news for you,,,
 
There are so many good ones. Light, lightning, invisibility and room are some favorites from the top of my head.

Lots of bad ones in the non-canon saga, like the candy fruit that turns your body into candy or the one that makes you huge. Canon, the one you mention is definitely one of the worst. Also giraffe was pretty bad.
 
Aokiji's Hie Hie no Mi, the ability to control ice.

Not only in theory is it broken by allowing you to never drown(freeze the water before you land) but since it is a logia you can in theory never get hit by any normal attack and create whatever cold environment you want.
 
I liked Whitebeard's. The way he uses it, but also the sound effects and stuff they have for it in the anime. Badass.

Maybe Doflamingo's too.

Trying to think of a worst. Think you got that covered too.

I'm pretty sure that there's a OP game where the villain has a Logia DF which gives him the power to maniplulate maple syrup. I'm not even joking.

Most of the DF's in OP are actually really good. I had to actively try to find a bad one lol.

I actually hate the sound effect they used in the anime. Sounded weird, the sound in the pirate warriors game is much better imo.

Also if I remember correctly the sound effect in the manga is "CRASH!" like glass breaking or something like that.

You have to be the one changing the genders/curing the illness.

So you have to be at the reception at the love hotel or be a doctor at an hospital.

Maybe saving people in normal days and pleasuring people on the weekends ? =P

(with a bonus freelance job of working with athletes to give the adrenaline boost)

I was just saying that I saw a lot of One Piece ... but since I stoped a long time ago, I am not more on One Piece GAF since there have been HUNDRETS of episodes since when I stoped =P
 
My namesake, Sir Crocodile's is my favourite. Suna Suna fruit makes the owner a sandman, and is pretty much uber overpowered. If you can touch someone, you can beat them pretty much(super-dehydration).

Sengoku's Hito Hito fruit, Model: Daibutsu appears to be a very strong devil fruit, although we never really saw its full power. Certainly looked like he was going to give Teach a thrashing, but it's hard to say how much of it was the fruit, and how much was Sengoku's own power. Looked cool though!

I also like Moriah's Kage Kage fruit, which makes you able to control people's shadows. Just a totally crazy and creative ability. Magellan's Doku Doku fruit, which allows the user to create various poisons and poison creatures.

Enel's Goro Goro fruit, which makes the owner a lightning man, is pretty cool, but one of the best abilities is its combination with mantra(have we ever seen anyone else couple their devil fruit power and their Ambition powers as well as Enel?)
 
Argh, you took my two top spots Op. Law's is an interesting fruit and Kizaru's istoo strong.

Then, I guess the Goro Goro no mi.
Hands down my favorite fruit. There's just so much Enel could do with it, creativity wise. If he had been introduced to stronger guys, then maybe we would have seen such growth.

The Doa Doa no mi
Creating a door anywhere is cool. I've always wanted to be able to instantly go wherever I want, and it's an excellent weapon for assassination.

The Nikyu Nikyu no mi.
Having the ability to reject anything, even pain is interesting. Also seems like a good power to have in a fight, which kind of reminds me of Accelerator from To Aru.

While he probably is my most hated character in the series (his design drives me insane), I think his DF looks rather interesting.

I dont know how can anyone make a case for a worse fruit than "Washing lady fruit", seriously, the first female admiral introduced on the show, which apparently is high within their hierarchy and her power is washing people as if they are clothing.
 
Seems we have the classics. Fujitora's fruit is pretty spectacular.
the fact that he uses it while blind
puts him on a whole other level

I was contemplating whether to put this one or Kin'emon's in the OP. At least her DF actually affects her enemies :P

Smoker's is my least favorite.

He uses it in such a boring way. Especially for a Logia. All the others use their powers to do some really epic, and somewhat overpowered stuff. Smoker just uses his for flying, phasing through stuff (which is sorta useless now that Haki is commonplace), and stretch his punches. Then there was that short-lived, smoke powered bike he had in Alabasta. Pretty much just a Buggy mobile, but not as entertaining. Even after the time skip he uses his powers in the same way, and thus unsurprisingly gets his ass kicked.

As for a favorite...too hard. So many good ones.

Still waiting for the inevitable Water Logia. Just for the irony of not being able to swim despite being able to turn into water.

Because this is a universe where that happens, along with cyborgs running on cola, and water flowing uphill to the top of a mountain.
 
Law's Op-Op fruit is my favroite. He can cut anything Raiden style plus he can teleport using it. Also his Counter Shock cemented him as my favorite character.

Least favroite would have to be Blackbeard's Dark-Dark. It's a bit too overpowered, plus it has the ability to
absorb other's Devil Fruit Abilities Sylar style.
it has a decent drawback, being hurt 2x more than normal, but still that's an unfair trade off for having almost unlimited power.
 
I change my answer to Kuma's Nikyu Nkyu fruit. The fact that you can "push" intangibles like pain and exhaustion out of your body is too good. Not to mention teleporting by pushing yourself, send people (or things) you don't like flying hundreds of miles, or creating shockwaves by pushing a column of air. All I ask is to not have those paws on my hands.

Yeah, Kuma's is really cool. Definitely up there with my favorites.

I never really understood why reject/push powers came in the form of paws, but whatever. They're awesome.
