"Towers of Terror" (2011), junk PC towers, DC motors, Arduino, IR sensor
Hollowed out PC towers stand in rows on the ground, each one with a DC motor taped to the inside wall. The motors are controlled by an IR sensor connected to a microprocessor. As the viewer walks towards the towers the sensors are set off causing the motors to bang rattle against the walls of the towers, creating loud percussive sounds.
