We are developing a 3D fully immersive Head-Mounted Display with head and body tracking for the PS3/4, Xbox 360/One, PC, Mac and Blu-Ray Movies.

Twitter quotes:
we are planing to do demos at E3. Lets hope that Murphy's law is kind with us! We will also do some media demos before E3.
we are planning a kickstarter this summer! Subscribe to our mailing list on our website to stay in the loop.

Single 1080p OLED? Displaying two images, I hope.

Support for current-gen consoles, and last-gen consoles? Sony's just allowing headsets other than their proprietary one?

Bullshit. Fuck off, True Player Gear.

Something off with this. Scam? Fake?
90% chance of scam, I guess

From Twitter:
We were at the GDC and E3 in 2006, Tokyo Game Show in 2007, you can check, it's public info ;-) VR is hard and takes lots of R&D
We swear, no BS. We bootstrapped for all this time until the technology was mature enough. We kept believing in our dream!

Everyone starts out somewhere. I give 'em the benefit of the doubt, it's not like anyone paid any money yet. ;)

If it was a scam it would not list an event that can prove it's legitimacy.
Just wait till E3

Also it's easy to put, we support everything in text, but the practicality of that is questionable.

To be fair, they don't mention VR anywhere. This is just a head mounted screen.

Although they do have tracking. Probably just maps to control input though.

So a HMD that emulates the right stick on the controller with a single screen and no left/right separation.
Here comes the low budget VR ripoffs.

Edit: maybe it does 3D. Not that anyone should care.

A quick google brings up this "article" on pocket-lint.com, which reads more like a marketing piece so not quite sure what to make of it.

Oculus Rift might have an altered future now that Facebook is in charge, but gamers need not fear. True Player Gear promises to be a replacement that offers all the awesomeness of the Rift and much more.

The six year old, five employee startup from Montreal in Canada aims to sate the wants and needs of developers who are turning their back on a Facebook-funded Oculus headset.

...

We'll be bringing you more details on the project as soon as we can. This could be the true rival to Sony's Project Morpheus. True Player Gear, in fact.

The company is real and has been around for like 9 years if that will help some with the worrying.

I need a lot more info before i even get interested however.
