I'm really disappointed they didn't use a chance to add a fire emblem character from awakening. But the more FE the better.

I'm pretty surprised it isn't one of the obvious ones from Awakening, but I'll take Ike as I still prefer PoR and RD over Awakening. Those two Fire Emblem games are amongst my favourite games of all time. I think I beat RD on Hard about 5 times now, even though it's supposedly too hard to finish according to most people I know.
He wasn't in SSBM, you must be thinking of Marth or Roy. Marth is in this one too and was in SSBM and SSBB. Ike wasn't in Melee but was in Brawl.

I'm the opposite. I love that he grew up.
I normally play with characters who are a lot faster and lighter, but there's something so satisfying about playing as Ike and just destroying everything. Glad to see him in this!
