Wii U and 3DS owners, get ready for a big ol' blast from Capcom's past! FIFTEEN classic titles will arrive on both the North American and European eShops later this year, including a few that haven't been available for quite some time. We also have news on some additional titles a bit further out with dates to be confirmed later.

So happy to announce both Demon's Crest and Breath of Fire - two of my favorite SNES games - will find a new home on the Wii U eShop. They'll do so alongside the highly requested Mega Man 7 and X3, both of which came out late in the SNES' lifespan; if you missed them in the '90s (or the 2004 collection), 2014's your chance!

GBA games are a relatively new addition to the Wii U eShop. Happy to say Capcom has a lot to add to this service, including Mega Man Zero, Battle Network and Battle Chip Challenge. Zero 2 and Battle Network 2+3 are also planned, but they're a bit further out. While they may not make 2014, we thought you'd like to know they're in the works.

These have been out in Japan for a while, but today we can finally confirm Street Fighter 2010, Gargoyle's Quest II and Mighty Final Fight are on their way to the NA/EU eShops. For NA, we can confirm these are coming to 3DS and Wii U, while currently EU can confirm Wii U (with 3DS dates TBD.)

However, Mega Man 5 and 6 will arrive on the Wii U in both regions, completing the NES series on that platform. Speaking of the Blue Bomber...

we can confirm the Game Boy Mega Man titles will come to the EU 3DS Virtual Console later this summer, currently targeted for August. These were part of "Mega May" here in North America.

Finally, a good way to play X3 again. The remastered music from the PSX version is nowhere near as good as the original, and there's no way to choose the SNES version on the X Collection.

Yes! Battle Network! The original one is the only one in the series I haven't played.

... I'm also going to have to resist the temptation to buy the entire Mega Man Zero series a third time.

Finally glad to see Gargoyle's Quest 2, Mighty Final Fight, & Street Fighter 2010 coming to the US. SNES X3 & Demon's Crest are an added bonus. Now I just need to decide which of the 3 NES games I should get on 3DS or Wii U.

And I se myself getting like almost ALL of these.

Breath of Fire, X3 and Demon's Crest in particular I've been waiting on re-releases forever ago.

Everybody who owns a Wii U needs to get Demon's Crest the second it comes out. One of the best games on the SNES.

So are we just going to get Wii U/3DS announcements during every conference?

Now I just need a new Megaman title funded by Nintendo or something revealed during their direct as a part of the Smash deal or something.

Demon's Crest, X3 and MM7 coming are great.

Breath of Fire 1's the real interesting part here, though. I'm guessing whatever legal issues existed with Square and the US translation were either resolved or may not have even existed at all.

Is Breath of Fire's English translation as bad as the one of the sequel?

Nowhere near as bad, but because of some naming inconsistencies, a lot of continuity nods between BoF1 and 2 (And BoF3, for that matter) get lost in translation.

Demons Crest, Battle Network series, Breath of Fire. Amazing. Hopefully nintendo and third parties continue to bring more classics to Wii U.

Neat, though part of me was hoping Capcom would do the right thing and give Breath of Fire the proper remake (and localization) it deserved.

Great for BN fans, but... Battle Chip Challenge? Was that a stand-alone game? What's the deal with that one? Is that really something worth bringing to Wii U?

Did anyone ask for this? I mean, yeah it's an interesting premise but the game is hard-as-balls, and NOT in a good way.
