Leading up to EVO 2014 is Kings of Cali 4, a tournament inside a bar! This tournament almost didn't happen but thanks to Redbull eSports and MrBitterTV they were able to get a new venue as the old one wanted too much money for them to use it. Each Kings of Cali has been memorable and packed to the brim with talent and this one's no exception featuring M2K, Armada, Mang0, aMSa, and more!

What games are here?

If it wasn't obvious already... only Super Smash Bros. Melee.

No brackets yet but singles and doubles are scheduled.

Where can I watch?

As always, www.twitch.tv/vgbootcamp will be streaming it just like the previous tournaments in this series.

Schedule

No stream schedule yet but tentatively the tournament is scheduled like so:

Day 1
11 AM (PST) - Tournament matches begin
4 PM (PST) - Last matches
5 PM (PST) - Venue closes

Day 2
11 AM (PST) - Tournament matches resume
10 PM (PST) - Tournament ends/venue closes

There may also be a salty suite after Day 1 has ended but it's not confirmed or announced quite yet.

Yeah, it'll be on vgbootcamp's archive on Twitch. Or you can wait for the uploads on www.youtube.com/videogamebootcamp for the individual matches from today (which I assume probably wouldn't be up until Monday).

I was watching a little of that earlier and intend to stream Curleh Mustache 11 later today. Thank God I got that bandwidth buff from Optimum earlier this year. (50down/25up) I couldn't imagine trying this when we had Verizon with their 3down/1up nonsense passed off as "Internet Enhanced".

Punched backward? As in he was facing the stage and punched Samus into Dreamland? Or he got a reverse hitbox on the falcon punch?

Yeah, X2 and Paper Mario. Though I think he might be trying to get back into doing SMRPG, too. Not 100% sure yet, though. He also does a lot of blind races/playthroughs lol.

Peaches runs Doom 64 mostly atm but he's also done Quest 64, Blast Corps, Mischief Makers, and even random terrible games for hilarity like Zoo Race and other Bible PC games.
