I really hope not. I wouldn't think so. I don't imagine NES Remix being a major release for Nintendo to the degree I think they hope Captain Toad will be as a family-friendly game.

If it's like the JPN version, no, it's just both games together. Owning both of them unlocked Championship Mode in NES Remix 2.

My Captain Toad comment is just speculation, I find it odd that NES Remix would also release in the Holidays instead of spacing it out to help the releases schedule less barren come next year. A la DKC last year. Hope Im wrong.

NES Remix is a total nothing title, though. It's already old content that's been available for months and is pretty inconsequential. Captain Toad is a completely new game.

Sure, that makes sense. I just hope you're wrong, because DKC and 3DW are much more similar than NES Remix and Captain Toad are. Plus, there are many more Wii U games scheduled for the first half of next year than there were this year.

Same. I knew to hold off when the disc version was released in Japan. Easy money for Nintendo and I still prefer physical retail.
