You should appreciate the police more, guys

I mean out of all the bands I can think of The Police has an extremely solid discography even in their time as a group and when the group went off on their solo careers. Regatta de Blanc being their best album imo. But out of all of the British rock bands of that era they seem a bit under appreciated.

Stewart Copeland's solo work is awesome too. The Spyro albums are top notch, is a prime example.

What does GAF think of The Police?
 
I think I'd be a bigger fan if I'd never heard their songs that get played on the radio, which consist of a hook repeated for four minutes and drives me nuts.

Somehow I don't see this lasting too long. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it will go on for like 50 pages with no real highlights or climaxes.
 
i like how sometimes there will be a random Sting ad for something he's doing and it's always a pleasant feeling to know that the man still knows his thing

I do enjoy the band.

Oysterhead rocks :P but it is less than the sum of its parts for some reason.
