Disney games arriving on Steam

Bets for how long until the first game is pulled?

It's cool though I guess. Won't buy 'em, but good to see things on Steam in general.

Why would that bundle normally cost $110?

And while totally irrational I was hoping this meant Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers would be coming to PC :(

Finally! Hopefully their back catalog will come as well. Also I hope the keys will activate on steam. I have close to 20 disney games bought on amazon digital.

Is this Disney the video game publisher (if that even exists), or games from various publishers that use Disney-licensed characters?

If it's the latter... release Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse, or bust.

I'm mostly joking...

Heads up for anyone interested in Epic Mickey 2, unless they added it for the steam version theres no multiplayer at all in the PC version.

Expensive. For those who have children and use Steam, how is the children's selection? Wonder if the sales of Castle of Illusion woke them up...

edit. SecuROM in split second. Hope it's a mistake....

Does Disney have the rights to the old missing LucasArts games like X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter and Day of the Tentacle? That would be cool.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they say after Greenlight any company that had not published a game on Steam would have to go through Greenlight if they wanted to be on Steam?

Doesn't this violate the rule?

Between this, Popcap and Humongous Entertainment, not to mention a bunch of kid-friendly indie games I'm sure you can find plenty of good options for kids.

Oh shit Disney published Split/Second?

Want.

It's weird. Black Rock Studio did racing/ATV games for a long time, and Buena Vista bought em. Then they did Pure (awesome) in 2008, and Split/Second (even more awesome) in 2010. We got no followups though thanks to the switch in management.

Does this mean I can finally get LEGO Pirates on Steam? I hope they add it sooner or later, I'm an avid LEGO games collector and it's the only LEGO game I never had a chance to play through.

So much past Disney-Licensed games I want (like Magical Quest and Chip 'n' Dale), I was hopeful when Ducktales happened. Then nuthin... Yo, Capcom and Disney, I'm trying to throw money at you there.

Bish please call them up and tell them to make amends for dropping propaganda by at least rereleasing tron and Turok.

I know they have to get the rights again to Turok but it's not like anyone is using it.

The only game I really want on steam

Except that it isn't as the games are still be added to Stem. Once all games are up then you make fun of the pricing.

Also Toy Story 3 just got added.

If this is the same Toy Story 3 on PS3/Xbox 360, people really need to check it out. I truly believe it was the most overlooked game of last-gen. Toy Box mode was incredibly lengthy and a ton of fun.
