BeerGAF, lately, I have noticed two things about my alcohol intake.

1. It takes a lot of alcohol to get me drunk (3-4 bottles of whiskey, vodka, brandy or whatever, or 3-5 six packs of lagers taken continuously)

2. Not only do I not get hangover, I sober up within 2 hours of not taking any alcohol

Is this normal? I'm concerned about how buying alcohol has now become somewhat of a waste of money and I no longer go out as much. This has affected some of my friendships as well because I can't hang out with some of my beer buds.

Is there something I can do to go back to being stupid drunk after half a bottle of vodka or just a six pack?

I'd sorta just sit arround at parties, fully aware of everything around me and most of the time, I'd get to drive people home.

I wanna get drunk again without having to drink too much :'(

What on earth

If it takes 3-4 bottles of liquor before you're drunk, something is definitely wrong. As a doctor, my first guess is that there is a munchkin living inside you that is stealing your alcohol as it goes down and enjoying it for themselves.

There's no way it takes you 4 bottles of whiskey to get drunk unless you're built like the Hulk.

That's like only possible if you've got nanomachines.

Bullshit.

Yeahhh, I'm going to need a video of you pounding down 3 bottles of whiskey. That is literally unbelievable. Stream a video next time you're getting drunk...er...drinking alcohol and post it on Gaf.

His tapeworm came from a tequila bottle.

OP: Why not just drink alcohol you enjoy the taste of and not worry about getting drunk? I would love to be in your purported situation.

I feel like this is going to turn out like the Sixth Sense and we're going to find out that the OP has been dead this whole time. Only explanation that makes sense.

1. Get < 6 hours of sleep
2. Skip dinner altogether. No food in you since lunchtime.
3. Go to the bar. Choke down a double shot of Jaegermeister
4. Chase it with vodka tonic, or if you can handle it, whiskey on the rocks
5. Have another double shot if you are still feeling bullet proof. Otherwise a single shot of jäger will suffice. The chaser should go down faster now (another vodka or, again, if still not buzzed, whiskey)
6. An hour better not have passed. Drink one more shot (maybe tequila to mix it up) and chase with only whiskey if you are still stone cold sober.
7. Hour 2. Feel free to cool it with the shots, but have one or two more if you are feeling ballsy/skeptical. The whiskey should be going down like water at this point.

Don't drive home. Congrats, you are know fucked up until like 4am.

4 bottles of whiskey to get drunk?

Unless you're immune to alcohol this cannot be true.

I don't know what being "immune to alcohol" would actually mean. It started about 6 months ago. Just last weekend, 3 friends and I had 6 bottles of Jameson whiskey (the challenge was 2 each). Needless to say, they blacked out and I didn't. Yes, I was buzzed but within a coupla hours I was ok. I should also mention that we started around 10am and I finished my second bottle by 7pm.

The fuck is this? You sound like an alcoholic that should quit immediately. A third of one bottle of hard liquor would get most people drunk.

No offense. It sounds like you are looking for honesty. Also please don't drive after drinking.
