Dwango organises Tokaigi "Game Party Japan" 2015, taking place for 2 days from January 31 to February 1st 2015.
Centered around the idea of playing games together, the event will feature all kinds of games, from analog to retro to smartphones, handhelds, consoles.
A part of it's presentation shows how gamers no longer play with each other thanks to the internet, and wants to revive the old way of gathering around to play multiplayer games.

Iwata is then shown on video talking about how plenty of their games were made for multiplayer, showing Gameboy Pokemon Trading, Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, and 3DS StreetPass. Nintendo announced they will be bringing their history of games, from Hanafuda, Ultra Hand, their first beam-gun game Kousenjuu, Game & Watch, and Famicom.
Iwata also announced that Nintendo now officially gives it's permission for anyone to use their properties for derivative works, even showcasing videos of famous Let's Plays, music covers, fanarts.
Under Nicovideo's (Dwango) "Creative Endorsement Program" which was originally setup to reward highly-viewed video creators with money, Iwata announced that videos featuring Nintendo's titles are now eligible for it.
