So am I at fault here

If any new people want to see what the discussion was, then find one of the posts that quotes it. I want to make sure everyone sees this though.

I mean people here seem to be thinking we were kicking and scrapping in the discussion, but it wasn't like that at all. The conversation itself was just casual. (This is what I mean when I said our conversation wasn't serious) There was nothing ridiculous about it. It just naturally came up from a series of events and was dropped quickly. I posted here because I was just curious about the opposing mindset.

I don't want to bring it up with him again because that seems like to me it could cause petty problems. So I posted here to get insight on it without possibly making it an actually deal about it with my friend.

Sounds like some fight I'd have with my friends when I was fourteen. The way I resolved those arguments was by wrestling in the front yard.

Doesn't matter who's at fault. Just one of those arguments that go nowhere. Trying to see who's at fault in those disagreements just leads to an awkward week of not talking. Just go get a Capri Sun and look up hot pics of Android 18.
 
It's funny, sometimes as someone nearing 40, I feel like I'm still so immature, what wth stil being into video games, Lego and other nerd kids stuff, but every now and again I'm reminded that stuff isn't what makes you immature.

The structure is exactly the same"

So I started jumping around the map trying to show him saying things like "These are the same platforms that were there before, same roof, etc..." He kept attacking me while I was showing him and I said "I'm not trying to attack you, i'm just trying to show you that the level layout is the same"

Then he said "this is exactly what you were doing yesterday"

I said "Well not really. It was a different scenario"

He said "Sureee"

Me - "Yesterday, I just suggested we learn the characters through battling rather than trying to figure them out separately without fighting each other. In this case, I was straight up trying to show you something. I wouldn't have attacked you if you were trying to show me something. It was a different scenario is all i'm saying"

While I was saying that he kinda kept interrupting me, and when I finally got done, he was just like "sureee"

Then I say "What are you confused about? I'm just saying they aren't the same scenario"

Then he starts saying stuff like "you're just like my dad! You always have to be right!"

At that point im just like"okaaay" and I just kinda stop

Does what I say not make sense because he was acting like I was being crazy and unreasonable.
