Starfox coming 2015 before Zelda

Something tells me this is going to be either super short or DD

The last quote is that it would be episodic. With "main programming" being classic Star Fox, and "late night programming" being bonus side games like Project Guard and Project Giant Robot.

-Star Fox coming before Zelda

-No Star Fox footage is shown

-Zelda footage shown

Ugh. At least Star Fox is confirmed next year.

Unless something was lost in translation, I don't see how it could have been a joke.

They were laughing at it and the Zelda guy countered with ''but we will release Majoras Mask before that''. To me it was pretty clear they were having a fun rivalry of sorts. Or maybe I just misunderstood the whole thing.

We already knew Star Fox was coming out in 2015 and Zelda is probably going to release in November so I doubt it was a joke.

Very likely but I wouldn't take it as 100% confirmation just yet.

An entirely plausible slate for late 2015, if localization is on the ball: Xenoblade X in September, Star Fox in October, Zelda in November.

At this rate I wouldn't be surprised to see the overseas release of Xenoblade X slip into 2016.

Zelda, Star Fox, Xenoblade Chronicles X in one year
Oh Nintendo...

It's that weird mini game gamepad demo we saw at E3, right? don't expect a full fledged game, guys

2015 is going to be so good on Wii U. If some people are still bitching about reasons to not get a Wii U then they suck as gamers.

Just to ask and this is a serious question, but is there any other good Star Fox game except the one on the 64? I am a fan of the character and series but I've never really kept up with it.

Never played Star Fox Adventures but I don't remember it being received very well when I was younger.

I hope not. Following SF643D, this is an ample time for a reboot.
I don't see the need for a reboot myself and I also don't think Star Fox U is going to follow Star Fox 64's steps (not that I would mind).
I've already got 7 definite purchases for Wii U next year:

Kirby & the Rainbow Curse
Splatoon
Yoshi's Woolly World
Mario Maker
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Star Fox U
The Legend of Zelda U

Even if Nintendo announces no new games at E3 next year, I'm pretty much set!

Star Fox U

I will be buying those. Zelda U is failing to impress and I love Kirby but don't care about the spin offs.

I really hope people tamper their expecations for StarFox, I really have a feeling it's not going to be a big AAA title like they think it is. Miyamoto's stuff looked more like an experiment with tablet controls than anything else.
