it's a pretty meh metroidvania. I enjoyed Batman Blackgate more, and Blackgate has a couple of terrible filler moments.
It's your call, but i played Strider for free and didn't think much of it. Just meh.

Entwined is lovely. Pretty hard gameplay by the end though. Not bust-your-balls hard but it's hard to get all the trophies and it's not a pure passive experience like flower. Looks absolutely lovely though and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Bit short, if the concept/art don't interest I wouldn't bother, definitely a niche thing.
Octodad is tons of fun, especially with the weirdass co op (you and your friends control different limbs). Works with move too--it's a bit hard to work the legs like that but it adds a fun physicality to it. It has a somewhat annoying "stealth" mechanic that you can completely disable via "easy" mode and just enjoy the slapstick.
I should probably get Valiant Hearts. I held off on Steam because of Uplay. Does it do anything interesting with the DS4/remoteplay, any good reason to get it on PS4 instead of PC?
Haven't seen discounts on those, might be waiting a bit. Amazon as FFF for $40...

Conception is the only jrpg on sale? Why does Europe get all the good jrpg sales? Hmm... that said, that is REALLY tempting at that price... Anyone recommend Conception?
I'm in the minority that actually really enjoyed the game. The dungeon designs did get old quick, but I felt the battle system and leveling different classes was enjoyable enough.

Standalone. It's got a small dedicated base and GG has supported the shit out of it with free maps and DLC. It's really awesome coop.
