A survey of Japanese game developers has Kotaro Uchikoshi of Spike Chunsoft, creator of 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, as well as Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, quoted as saying "Its looking like 2015 will be the year where everything Ive built up over the years will come together and be let out into the world in one fell swoop."

Uchikoshi has headed two major projects: the recent Zero Escape series, as wells as a series called "Infinity" that's about a decade old. With Infinity being so old, and Zero Escape having been left on a major cliffhanger, it's hard to imagine he's not talking about his Zero Escape series with this cryptic quote.

Could it finally be happening?
Hopefully we'll finally get to visit the Nevada Test Site in the coming year!

I need to see this bonkers series concluded. I don't care if I have to buy a new machine to play it - I will have Zero Escape 3.

Somebody should get on Sony's ass to fund a 999 remaster (maybe hold the Vita sideways?) alongside ZE3.

By the way, is it common knowledge that Uchikoshi is going to do a PS4 game this year? I just read it on my copy of Untold History of Japanese Game Developers (nice book, btw) and didn't find too many things on Google.

Need to huury it up the longer the wait the less viable the platform it will be released on will become, provided they stay with 3DS and Vita only. Because can you imagine a retail Vita title in 2016?

Doesn't matter to me though, so long as it gets made and localized. it could only sell 10k copies so long as I get one of them and it ends the series.

The wrost part of ending Virtue Last Reward was realizing that in ended in a cliffhanger (and an awesome one to boot) and not knowing when you will be able to play the sequel.
