Digitally, in EU/US, it has also sold more copies on the Vita as per the reviews on the PSN store.

I hope Spencer comes out and admits they have more to do to better the platform. I'm not asking him to spoil E3 but I think its a good idea to remind gamers once again that they understand what is going on in the market and why.

The transition from the Xbox to the Xbox 360? Windows Vista to Windows 7? The latest incarnations of Windows Phone? Zune HD? Hell, you could even make an argument for the Xbox One at its reveal and right now. Windows 8 is looking to be making a similar rebound with the enhancements of Windows 8.1 and the retooling of the Start Menu in a near future update. All of this is pretty damn recent too.

dropping a product, and then making a new one is not pulling through... that's tossing in the towel, and starting over. Zune HD... when exactly did it pull through? XBO... hasn't pulled through... Windows 8.1 hasn't proven anything.

I think it's very presumptuous to say that the Xbone only sold 11k of the consoles before March 11th.

Edit: Or am I mistaken and it replaced the regular Xbone version even though Titanfall wasn't out yet? (Digital copy so it activated on the 11th?)

ALTHOUGH, going by the average sales per week it seems like the first ten days of March people were just waiting for the Titanfall bundle, and why wouldn't they? For the same price you get a game, and a fancy box.

Well it's Sony itself that made me ask the question. Why would any company combine their figures and not give their individual totals? That seems like awfully fishy behavior.

As far as I know they did not sort out their PS2 and PS3 numbers for almost three years. And as suggested by an article I posted earlier, they've been doing the same with their PS3 and PS4 numbers since October of last year.

I have been trying to find a source in their financial reports that sorts out the two numbers but I cannot find it myself. That's why I politely asked for assistance from my fellow GAF users who might know more about this subject.

It's not wrong to ask these questions. It's cool to know these facts.

You're pulling correlations out of nowhere. Sony has been explicit about the numbers being PS4 only, and sold through to consumers.
Show proof of what you're talking about instead of pulling an article written on a blog before the PS4 and XboxOne got released in Nov.

What's the tracking period for this month's NPD? If Creamsugar's "2:<350k" referred to Dark Souls, that puts it a bit behind the first game on a week for week basis.

Seriously? I think the new one is boring, and I loved the original Yoshi's Island.

It captures the spirit of Yoshi's Island perfectly while doing an excellent job of refining the mechanics. The controls are tighter, the levels feature better platforming setpieces and are more conducive to the game's focus on exploration and finding secrets, and the transformations are handled better. It's really fantastic for fans of the original like me.
