But connecting both 3DS and Wii U versions to potentially unlock them... talk about a $100 DLC purchase!

And I can see Spainkiller's suggestion making sense; it's like a better version of how you get the Olimar trophy in Melee, and it makes sense since they're all bigger sellers barring DHD over Chorus Kids, and they probably took longer to make anyway. I'm not getting my hopes up this time (I legitimately didn't think ROB'd be the last unlockable again/the CSS'd look disjointed), but I'd be satisfied with this.
Snake, Lucas, Ice Climber, & Wolf DLC would be even better, though!

I want to believe this so fucking bad but I just can't. I'm already disappointed as it is. I don't want to disappoint myself even more if this ends up being fake. Its just better to call fake and hope that I eat crow when the Wii u version releases.

The roster is just that disappointing
Wow so ROB really was the last character. Knew it would happen, but I wish there was more. Biggest problem with the roster is just the deep amount of cuts. Brawl cut some characters, but the only one that was met with a big reaction was Mewtwo. Here we lost Snake, Ice Climbers, Lucas and more. As for my personal bitching, really upset that the roster got overloaded with Mario characters and there is still no Toad. He's a favorite of mine who I would've loved to see in the roster, but I guess I'll just enjoy his appearances outside Smash like Captain Toad and hope for the future. Donkey Kong getting the shaft is pretty unforgivable though between Returns and Tropical Freeze. Hopefully the Wii U version has at least a Returns stage.
