Madden is branded alongside Xbox but it's no where near the same as Call of Duty.

Did cod sold better on xb then ps2 if no then cod is not associated with xbox brand
I dunno. I think there's still a good amount of kids that haven't upgraded to the 3DS. And definitely many that haven't gone to PS4/XB1

Maybe MS should bundle the PS4 with the Xbox One, since bundled sales don't count.
A certain percentage, sure. The majority of Madden/X1 buyers would seem unlikely.

I couldn't tell you. I don't work for them. But I can tell you that all third party games at launch sold more on the PS4 over the X1. At least I'm pretty sure they did. I know BF and COD and Madden did. I'm sure 2K basketball did as well.
No surprises here. The console with way more sales sells more of the same game on it's side. That's the way it should be.

I guess that's part of it? But we have exclusive sales as well, plus god knows what Destiny is going to do overall. Game supposedly needs 10M sales to break even lol
No one actually knows how EA Access is actually doing.
The DS is kinda like this generation's PS2. So many out there some are bound to still be in use

I read in Spanish forums that XBO software doesn't sell here well because everybody buys cheaper in US marketplace...
No wonder they kept making them all the way to Madden 12.
Final Fantasy started on Nintendo platforms, yet it's most closely associated with PlayStation now by most people. Perception can change over time.
They are stuck with Xbox for now.
Probably have a Multi year marketing contract.

No. In page 1-2 (100ppp) I think it was being discussed as possibly being because WiiU sales dropped. MK8 also dropped out of the top 10.

It's not that farfetched to think about. The PS4 is at an install base of over 10 million users meanwhile the Xbox one from the last updated numbers was at 5 million units. Obvisiously it's higher now. Based on the sheer difference of users it's plausible for Advanced Warfare to do better on PS4.

But that's with the NFL and not with EA, right? I know MS invested a ton of money with the NFL but for EA not to piggyback on PS4's momentum it seems like a missed opportunity. Would I be wrong to assume that the Destiny bundle is going to be a huge hardware driver for September and that this holiday season is looking to be a lopsided contest?

For Lego, Wii U owners must really not buy DLC or something. How can the DLC not come to Wii U when it's the best selling Next Gen version. Especially for this year until it fades into obscurity next year.
The opportunity cost of porting already designed DLC seems so low....so the profit they're expecting must be exponentially low.

Not yet. Sometimes Nintendo is a bit late on the draw, but given where The Lego Movie Videogame is and Mario Kart 8 isn't, they might understandably be more hesitant this month to release one.

Well they won't know what it did digitally on PS4. So you can't just assume you sold the most.
Only EA can say which version sold the best, but generally they say which version generated the most revenue for them.
But it's still not concrete because of licensing fees. So we will never know officially.
This "hold on! what about EA Access!" narrative is absurd. There's zero evidence that it has had a significant, relevant impact on the delta of digital sales.
Should we start doing this for every single retail game that gets a day one PS+ discount? Did anyone bother when Wolfenstein had close numbers a few months back and a 10% PS+ discount?

Worldwide I'm sure that will sell more on PS4. In US I don't know.
They used to give some.
Their official reason for stopping is that their partners requested they did.

NPD reports cost a lot of money. I'm not surprised they want to keep them for subscribers only.
