I've been using speakers and earphones for so long, that adjusting to headphones has been a PITA. I believe I will end up at the toilet if I decide to play Half-Life 2 with these things on. :(

oh my god capcom , what have you done ?

Does anyone know if there is a limit/cap in how many trading cards are able to be in the steam inventory?
I have about 190 cards, I might have to start selling some...

Tis beautiful, but the pictures hide the fact that most rooms are 4 walls with a few breakables in them. Also, the camera is awful and continuously a hindrance to play.

You can also immediately tell that when there is a beautiful vista, there will be no enemies. When you are in a small room, or a rather bland open space, there will be enemies. It's pretty much always one or the other.

Belial is a stunner though.

Why is Nosgoth so dead? Its alot of fun...

Every time I want to play I cannot find anyone to play with..

They should just put it in Open Beta already.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
So I just finished Beyond Gravity:

The game was a lot of fun
thanks again Ozium for the gift!
and was pretty short too. It's one of those good "mindless" games where you can play for a while and not be to mentally invested in it, but I enjoyed collecting the little space screws and bolts and trading them in for upgrades while unlocking achievements for doing stuff.

My only complaint is that only three "objectives" are active at a time. There were a lot of instances where I did something really well (like went past 1000m) but that objective hadn't been activated yet. So I had to unlock the current objectives until it "built up" to that objective, and then I had to do it again.

My top run was over 3,000m and I earned over 6,000 screws - it was pretty epic.

The game is definitely recommended, especially for it's current price of $0.99. (and it has 3 cards worth about $0.14 each)

So, I'm trying to replay Crysis and I apparently they haven't fixed the 24fps bug yet, so the game is stuck at 24fps.

Seriously, Crytek/Nvidia. I had this issue 7 YEARS AGO. YOU HAD SEVEN. FUCKING. YEARS.

The olde alt+enter didn't work?

Trying to get through the entire store Discovery Queue by October. I've got 1500 games and I've gone through 600 discovery queue items so far, so 1500 or so to go. Voting a firm NO to anything by Ubisoft (uPlay), Minecraft clones, F2P MMOs, top-down zombie shooters, unremarkable RPGMaker games, My First Game garbage, incredibly poorly presented war strategy games with no apparent acclaim, about half the hidden object games, most low-end shmups and space strategy games, a fair few crummy looking FPSes, products where the devs are known jerks, etc.

One weird game I found, which I actually own on disc:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/302180

The game's title when it was announced: Journey to the Center of the Moon
The game's title on Steam: Voyage: Journey to the Moon
The game's title in the US at retail: Voyage: Inspired by Jules Verne
The game's title in the UK at retail: Journey to the Moon
The game's title in its Steam art: Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Moon
The book the game is based on: From the Earth to the Moon

Maybe it's time for devs to... settle on a name?

I've put 4 hours into Clash of Heroes and it seems like it's not for me. It reminds me of Puzzle Quest, only I'm finding these battles to take much too long. Fighting a guy for several minutes only to see that you're not even halfway down their life bar is just too much from a puzzle/RPG hybrid.

I'm just not having fun with it.

I'm sure you got to the special units and relics. Those really help with the damage output. It's a bit of grind but it does get better, especially as you get into the other campaigns. Multiplayer is great fun too.

Also, I'm not sure how this Pier Solar has slipped past me but it looks fucking incredible and apparently it comes out next week!? This is the jrpg everyone should be excited for.

I'm implying people shouldn't be excited for FFXIII

Yup, still a PITA. The Origin version of Crysis won't even run for me, though. Something about the folder location.

The olde alt+enter didn't work?

It used to work on Windows 7 after a few tries, but on 8.1 it doesn't seem to.

You have proper Discovery tastes... I hope you made the right choice when you encounter(ed) DRAGON THE GAME!

And for that JV Moon title, I bet it's an absolute infringement minefield. You're lucky they were able to name it at all.

I watched a bit of that Alien Isolation video and it gave me a nice Enemy Zero flashback. Looking forward to playing it during horror month. :)

Edit: It's from this thread.

Thinking about selling my 780Ti to put towards part of the cost of two 980s. Got to be ready for the Acer XB280HK gsync'd monitor. Chasing that dragon now ;-;

Still downloading Ethan Carter so my short impression might be at the end of tomorrow. But so far it seems like the game is getting good reviews from Steam. 31 reviews so far and not a single negative one.

One thing that helped me in all my playthrough is actually level grinding :p There are a few areas where you get into random battles, make use of those, and practice getting the hang of links, chains and deleting units to form a line or wall.

Once you've gotten the hang of the game, you'll be able to finish most fights much faster.

Those Shadow of Mordor scores are insane. I'm actually thinking about selling my Alien: Isolation to try and get a copy of Mordor

Shadow of Mordor. = confirmed better than Destiny with half the hype and advertisement.

HELL YEAH!

Shadow of Mordor fans. Join hands with me and let jump for joy!

That game releases when on Steam again? Games I need to finish before it include:
FF4, MAYBE Fables Ann. & Sherlock Holmes C&P.

I'm in the mood for action games, so bring it on.

Oh and my GotY Steam list currently consists of near 20 games, can I have a high five? CAN A BRUTHA GET A HIGH FIVE!

Added some more games to my/IndieGAF groups Steam Curator list:
http://store.steampowered.com/curator/4626771

Its now at 126 items and just broke the 1000 followers a few minutes ago. Still not covering enough games, I'll add more whenever I get to it. Kinda crazy how fast these things grow. Feel free to share the link if you like the group.

Thanks, only curator I'm following at the moment. Great selection of games, even though I own most of the games on your list still added some games I missed in the past.

Also, ready to have some nightmares

If only Steam let me download it.

I played sone Remember Me in the afternoon, there's something that gives me like dizzyness. I think the camera is pretty weird when you are just walking. Like too close, same thing happened to me on RE6, but you can zoom it out there.

Yeah, I had to deliberately distant myself from the monitor from time to time.
