2014 High-Res PC Screenshot Thread of the Last Hope for Image Quality

I've never had too much interest in the FF games but after seeing these screens (and knowing Durante is/has fixed it), I will be buying FFXIII! I will also get Ryse as it looks amazing as well!

Remember Me is another one I'm glad I bought a while back. I never could get it to run very well with my old 7970 but with my new 970 I can run it maxed with the in-game super sampling on and it looks fantastic.

Is Remember Me a good game? Because I love the look of the setting/environment

The art direction is amazing, however the game is very linear. The combat is a little repetitive. I think it's still worth a play, even if you only complete it once.

Not really great timing when you can just pause the action at any moment and fly around with the camera. That's the power of Cheat Engine :) And it makes the shot more impressive when you consider this was framed purposefully like this rather than by mashing the screenshot key at the right moment :).

Ah, didnt know that. I dont own the game yet, but it's on my wishlist. Waiting for a steam sale, but knowing Ubi, it probably wont be cheap for a couple years.

Yeah, the environments are beautiful. Sometimes, i just run around admiring them. The gameplay is beginning to get tired though. Think I am nearing the end.

I've beaten the game well over 5 times now, and am currently doing 3 playthroughs at once (Don't ask). I guess I can understand how one would get bored, but I myself have not. I could play that game all day. Maybe I'm weird...

It's worth at least a low price, which it hits often enough. Music, Graphics, Performance are all Masterful, Story is good, and the gameplay has mixed reviews. I love it, but some, like above find it boring after a while.

Remember Me could run on a toaster... Were you supersampling it?

Double post sorry.

Man, I cannot wait for an ROG Swift to get into stock at my local MemoryExpress so I can play some games again.

Returned my PB278Q 1440p because of the input lag, but it's really hard to go back to 1080p after seeing 1440p.

Ryse, FFXIII, Middle-earth all look glorious.

FF13 really is beautiful. What's amazing is just how much unique, detailed content there is in each environment and prop. They did spend far too long making it of course, but it least it shows in that.

Damn, that's an HD remaster if I ever saw one.

I'm loving Ryse more than I thought I would. I don't care if the combat is a bit simple, there's enough there for me to really enjoy it.

Lol. I was praising Darkwalker when I said it wasn't good timing. I was basically saying that it wasn't a "lucky shot." He paused the game with cheat engine and picked his angle of that shot.

The torch in daylight on Marcel's screenshot? I said it was good but was just poking fun at him.

Same thing with his DmC shot you mentioned. In any case, both of those shots were on DET. A forum where we give each other constructive criticism because the goal is to help each other improve in the hobby.

You're just picking fights for no reason.

You are too critical when other people get praise for their screenshots.

Here it's not great timing, another time someone got great comments on a shot and you came and cut them down by saying something silly like the character shouldn't have a flaming torch out in daylight, or another one about why is he swinging his sword so far away from the enemy.

You take great shots, they take great shots. Let them have their praise.

I think you're mistaking jokey jabs for biting criticism. Nothing wrong with joking around about the ridiculous things that happen in video games when you really take the time to think about what we're doing.
